NEWays has started working on idea of opening market in the rest of India for local 100% organic and handmade products made from Natural resources like Bamboo, silk, metal, Ayurvedic medicines etc. from rural areas of North-East India,
Which will help in giving livelihood to the artisans and thereby keeping the traditional art alive. And also working on the development of tourism in this scenic area.
Most importantly this will help strong bonding between North- East India and Rest of India.
Concept Note
Exhibition of the products manufactured by Farmers /Artisans of North East . Entrepreneurship opportunities to college students , CSR projects for the corporates .
Objective :-
1) To encourage the Artisans /farmers of the states where the exposure is very low and also create a new market for their manufactured goods , products in the urban city by exposing them to the much bigger and larger markets. Thereby generate a good revenue and lead a life Of dignity and self respect .
2). Create a robust business opportunity ( entrepreneurship) to the young students of the final year graduation ( Any stream ) who are keen to start Entrepreneurship once they complete their graduation.
3). Corporate :- This can be a CSR activity of supporting the farmers / Artisans of rural backward area and support them by providing a urban market to sell their products at a reasonable price . The can be an activity to promote Entrepreneurship to young urban students and also the Farmers and Artisans to get a decent living
Stake holders :-
1. Farmers and Artisans of north east .

3. Corporate and the Corporate’s CSR funds to be utilised .
4. Local government .
5. Important individuals from society .
Methodology :-
A] college students will be taken to these states where artisan and farmers produce these goods for an industrial visit. Here the seeds of the entrepreneurial journey is planted .
B] EDP after the visit of these students these farmers and Artisans will visit to Cities and urban places with their product offerings and display in an exhibition organised by these college students and these students will host them .
C] These students will create the required marketing and publicity of this exhibition , involve corporates and also start thinking on the lines of building the entrepreneurial approach . ( volunteers ,college students to perform different activities like Exhibition , stalls , brand , publicity , marketing , dignitary finalising and inviting, sales, souvenirs, food and catering , lodging and hostel accommodation for the farmers and Artisans, corporate communications and media , funds collections etc management.
D] Different committee formations once we freeze the venue and dates . The committees formed will be responsible to execute the activities and task assigned. Core committee will delegate the work and one committee leader will get things executed at ground level .
E] different commitments for different groups to ensure smooth functioning and accountability.
F] success of exhibition will open many doors to different cities and projects.
